A letter from our Chief Procurement Officer, Carrie Uhl
GE HealthCare expectations on supplier diversity and inclusion.
At GE HealthCare, we believe that every voice makes a difference, and every difference builds a healthier world. We are committed to ensuring our leaders, employees, and partners embody the highest standards of integrity and inclusion. It is through our unique perspectives and experiences, that we can provide solutions that make hospitals more efficient, healthcare professionals more productive, therapies more effective, and patients healthier.
Embracing diverse viewpoints is pivotal to our success. GE HealthCare’s Supplier Diversity Program consists of a collaborative network of suppliers across our direct and indirect supply bases. We are dedicated to creating and maintaining a world class program founded on principles of fair and equitable procurement. With our senior leadership, we will establish clear and measurable targets to assure we are delivering on our commitment to supplier diversity.
As mutual partners, we require all suppliers to contractually commit to the GE HealthCare Integrity Guide for suppliers, contractors, and consultants. Our suppliers must strictly comply with laws, provide a safe and healthy work environment, and meet GE’s standards of ethical conduct relating to human rights, a safe and healthy workplace, the fair treatment of workers, environmental protection, resource conservation and meet our quality standards. Through alliances with diverse suppliers, we collectively hold a clear competitive advantage. We are excited to continue our supplier diversity efforts as we work to build a strong, competitive, and profitable business today and in the future. We greatly appreciate your continued focus and partnership.
Best regards,
Carrie Uhl,
Chief Procurement Officer
